An effective voice is invaluable in any situation. Students at J.F.K. are encouraged to join forensics, coached by Mr. Clements. Forensics consist of many different events in which students can participate. Humorous inter- pretation, serious interpretation, oratory, extem- poraneous speaking, declamation and multiple readings are among the individual contests in which students can enter. Forensics can cultivate a student's speaking ability and make the differ- ence between boring or exciting conversations. Forensics competition allows a student to pre- pare for the future while participating in and obtaining new experiences right now. Special Events - 151
