English, Languages Perfect Grammar Modern means of transportation and communica- tion have created a greater need for mutual understand- ing among nations. Foreign languages are another branch of the English department which are invaluable to members of Kennedy. They not only increase a stu- dent's knowledge of foreign countries, but may also one day help him to bridge the communication gap that exists among so many of the world's nations. 26 Academics 3
