That’s what most students thought they thought ot it. Exciting. That’s what it easily was if students just showed a little effort. The most frightening aspect of learning was thinking, and the most frightening thing about thinking was what It may accomplish. Surprise: 75 percent of the Senior Class will go on to some form of higher education. Surprise: 50 percent of the student body maintained an A or B average during the year. And not so surprising: 87 percent of the faculty had graduate degrees or equivalent credits. Those figures must mean something. Something was being done right. Someone was learning. Name an area — from Photography to Computer Math, Project Success to English Seminar, Phy. Ed. to Calculus. The curriculum and learning opportunities were Inviting, challenging, and, well, exciting. You had to agree. The place works.
