reshmen may not know it, but there IS life after 10 o’clock. Upperclassmen knew that many options were open, if you sought a nighttime thriller. On these nights, you didn’t care to sleep. You had to be where you could see whatever there was, and where your parents weren’t. Only 20 pennies a roll, if toilet-papered vandalism was your pleasure. And some kids really did still go to Discotrek. And if, by chance, you had to be alone, nighttime was the time.
