Your tackle broke up the play and caused people to pay atten tion to only y-o-u, people like Mom and Dad Coach McKay, an Ohio State scout Bud Grant's top assistant and even that special cheer leader you call your o Man, do you have it made! ,-B-P You win! Situation: posting a winning time in the 200-yard relay. Ah, but winning was only one good thing about being a swimmer. You also had the joys of chlorine-bleached hair, scaley skin, and blood- shot eyes. and your 4-ounce blue and gold Speedo swim- suit - wasn't that a zinger? Well, didn't the guys ask out every mermaid .S they hap- pened to see? K TA . . lf f 4 . 2 You lose' Situation After running another three grueling miles around Lake Nokomls you come to the realization that the lake has never changed nor have the trees the ducks and your running time At least you weren t to blame however Your father would slmply have to answer to the team for making you wear those dorky Keds for Kids o 'Q Z.-Q oo lg.54'4.N 1. Situation a sideline rush a pileup of players ou leaped into the air to head the ball only It went right to an opposing forward Com ing back down you land on the coach There goes your ankle his smile and your starting position You weren t a total loser though At least you got to read the Saturday paper EEE.:-. lim! You lose! Situation: a matter of being in the wrong, place at the wrong time. lt was time for a punt, and you took up your position. What you hadn't counted on, how- ever, was a nearsighted punter who would confuse the ball with your butt.
