Davis Annual Sponsor Bernice Bryant Senior Sponsor Senior Sponsors I want to thank all teachers, students, and support personnel for their cooperation and encouragement during my first year as principal. I issue a challenge to the seniors as they leave Kennedy High School to uphold the principles we have taught. To continue to set their goals high and make every effort to reach them. To the students returning to Kennedy High school I encourage them to make each year better than the last and to always set an example to others that will keep our school in high esteem. Coach Bill Trull I would like to express my appreciation to this year’s annual staff. Without their hard work and efforts, the annual would not have been possi- ble. This staff has been a very cooperative and dependable group with whom I’ve enjoyed work- ing. I’d like to wish the staff the best of luck and I hope their experience, in putting out this year’s an- nual will benefit them in later life. Mrs. Davis Seniors, I want to say thank you for having made this year an enjoyable one. You have been a great class to work with. Let me encourage you to set your goals high and make every effort to reach them. They were lead by Coach J. A. Williams. This was Coach Williams’ first year at Kennedy. The Jackets played 10 games and came out 5-5. As the season drew to a close, the Senior players reflected on the football years behind them. All wee a little sad that this was their last year to play as a “Yellow Jacket,” but they were determined to go out as winners. The last game was proof of this. They gave it their all and won. Thus ended the 1983 Foot- ball Season. FOOTBALL Kennedy Opponent Northside 8 6 Vina 14 26 Carrollton 6 14 Vernon 2 34 Hubbertville 21 20 Berry 20 0 Brilliant 27 0 Caledonia 6 14 Millport 14 42 T. W. This year every man, woman, and child will use the equivalent of a 100-foot tree - for building materials, paper, packaging and other products made from wood and wood fiber. Through research, fertilization and thinning, our High Yield Forestry helps nature increase its output.
