Dillard for all the help and understanding given to us our Senior year. S. from Livingston and his Master's degree from the University of Alabama. He has been principal at Kennedy for fifteen years. The faculty, par- ents, and students admire Mr. McGee for the way he carries out his responsibilities and gets along with the students. 14 ELEMENTARY FACULTY MISS MARIE BROWN Kindergarten MRS. CAROLYN McGEE Sixth Grade 15 ENGLISH English is taught this year by Mrs. Jerry Pra- ter and Mrs. Yvlette Savage. Mrs. Prater teaches eighth through eleventh English and Speech. Mrs. Savage teaches twelfth grade English and runs the library. We greatly appre- ciate their time and effort they have devoted to the students. 16 HISTORY Through the use of text books and many interesting materials Mr. Steedley and Coach Trull teach His- tory . These teachers try to broaden out understanding of the world of yesterday and today. 17 SCIENCE AND CHEMISTRY This year Mrs. Truelove taught Science and Mr. Dillard taught Chemistry. Biology was also offered. These courses bring about much enjoy- ment and knowledge with the experiments that are used. 18 HOME ECONOMICS Mrs. Bryant teaches this course. She prepares us to be better homemakers by using such subjects as: sew- ing, cooking, child care, personality traits, and grooming. AGRICULTURE Agriculture is taught by Mr. Karr. Mr. Karr and his classes contribute their time and effort to the well-being of the school. They are always willing to do something to benefit the school or help anyone who needs it. 21 BUSINESS EDUCATION Mrs. Hughes trains her students for business careers through Typ- ing I, Typing II, and Bookkeep- ing. A new course is offered this year, it is Co-Op. This allows senior high students to work half a day and attend school the other. This year only one of them returned, it was Bill Trull. He came back with his team to make one of the greatest seasons in sports Kennedy ever had.
