THE SOUND OF MUSIC If you like the sight of brass and steel meeting with human breath or flesh pounding on ebony and ivory keys, then the band room is the place to be. You can find so much talent in that one room that it would amaze you. Senior Ramon Gooden, one of the many talented musicians in the jazz band states, I've been playing instruments since I was born. I remember having a drum set that my parents bought me when I was little, and ever since then, I've kept on learning how to play new instruments. I enjoy playing because it's fun and I want to make a lot of money. Three of my most favorite musicians include Prince, James Brown, and George Clinton. Some students may not be able to play as many instruments as Ramon, but they all have the same capability. Senior Trina Gaines states, I play the piano and the base guitar. I've played since I was five years old.
