EXAM-PHOBIA g We all dread and fear them, yet they Rt? a take place everyday, surprise or ex- b l. : pected . . . TESTS! Many different ' 7 b forms of tests haunt us throughout the if: a day and give us nightmares during the t night. Whether it be the all-time worse, the essay test, or one of the milder ones, such as matching and fill-in-the- blank, you can be sure that it's not going to be a fun experience. But there is one last hope, one small 5 blessing left - that is multiple choice ; test! This test allows us to use our .- ft creativity and ingenuity as we come up i with new ways to guess. Senior Kawai Chen says he uses the more well-known and traditional , method of eenie-meenie-minie- i moe. I manage to maintain at least a s D average on test grades! he adds, :vith a sly grin spreading across his ace. Nicole Demotte Lamarah Dillon Jeff Ding Damon Dixon Myla Donnelly Washawnda Dorsey Senior Michelle Iue on the other hand, uses a more unique theory for essing on multiple choice tests. The first third of the tests, she replies are usually the easiest, so I pick the answer that seems most likely to be right. But what about the rest, I asked? Well, says Michelle the rest is usually harder to understand so I pick the most confusing answer that seems least like- ly to be right. This is definitely a strange method, but Michelle insists that the idea was given to her by a Princeton Review Guide. We all have different ways to guess; some work better than others. But the next time you find yourself taking a multiple choice test, keep in mind that psychologists have proved that C is the best answer to choose. -- Christine Rickey Wanda Douglass Tino Dozier Norris Drummond 7: Abel Duenas Hershel English Milyn Farlough Michael Fatemi Desha Featherstone Shawn Fisher Keya Hatchet Mano Fletcher Carla Flores Radjah Fort Leah Freeman Marcos Figueroa Raymond Fisher Sharma Franklin H FRESHMIFRESHMEN FRESHMEN FRESHMEN FRESHMEN FRESHMEN FRESHMEiI

Old flames are reignited and new ones sparkle. Love is in the air and all are its Victims. The world of teen romance isn't an easy one. It's full of rocky mountains and low, low valleys. Some relation- ships survive; others don't. Teen romances not only involve the two in the relationships but also all the others around. It seems as though peo- ple outside the relationship have a lot :RESHMEN FRESHMEN FRESHMEN FRESHMEN FRESHMEN FR Velma Mack Victor Mapp Damian Marshall Nicole Martin Kevin Mason START THE YEAR WITH FIRE. more to say than the people actuallyin it.
