Imagine, if you will, Mr. Picciotto having a natlonW1de popcomlcandy stand chain to help support his vast corlnputei' em- pire? What if Mr. Dansky decided to market McDansky s Dellaous Donuts, and to use the proceeds from it to buy more toy trams and become the world's 1H toy train collector? And finally, after taklng his comedy act on the road, could Coach Wilson sell the idea of the Bob Wilson Comedy Hour to NBC? tO.K. . . . maybe make it a half- hour showlb Those are just some made-up ideas about what some of our faculty members might be doing if they weren't teaching at J.F.K. Here's what a few teachers' career plans are if they weren't here at Kennedy. If Ms. Kavaler wasn't a chemistry teacher, she says she'd either be, A pro bike racer, or, be a professional student go back to school. Mr. Fred Gonzalez would utilize his artistic skills and be A commercial artist working in advertising, and would also like to work in ceramics and jewelry. Mr. Gonzalez also adds that if he didn't have to work at all, he'd be backpacking and hiking all around the world. Mr. Enos says, If I weren't a teacher, I would probably be making trouble for those that believe mediocrity is good enough! Maybe law, maybe politics . . These teachers have got some pretty good plans for if they weren't in their present line of work. It even seems pretty easy to imagine them doing the jobs mentioned above. But Mr. Picciotto's pop- comlcomputer empire instead of Apple Computers? McDansky's Donuts instead of Winchell's? And Bob Wilson instead of Bill Cosby? Well, maybe not after all. - Jennifer Ikuta .
