Frosh- Soph Wrestling This is the first year for a Frosh- Soph Wrestling team at Kennedy. It is also the first introduction to the collegiate, Graeco-Roman wrestling style for many of the team mem- bers. Despite their inexperience, the team did well and were in the city playoffs. All of the player have played the hardest and work the hardest and what they learned to do best. In the sport of wrestling you have to have a good trainer and good workers and fol- lowers to make the the group the best. Our wrestlers had worked and work to the point that they have come to today. Girls Basketball The Girls Basketball team had a good season. Their record was 7 win5s 6 losses. The team made it to the Christmas tournament, but lost both games that were played. There were new faces that played this year, Karen Baumhardt, Laura Corr, and April Haynes. The team fought hard against Gage Park when they came to Kennedy. Gage was undefeated until our team beat them. Coach Bromley said that this was their best game of the season and every one who watched the game would agree. With Ledelphia Williams and Nicki Banks still playing on the team, next year is bound to be just as successful. Pictures: 1, Lora goes for the ball. 2. Will it make it in. 3.
