Ms. Barbara Julian' is the sponsor for the school newspaper, the Profile. Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. in room 205. Anyone can join as long as they havecreativity, can write good stories, or draw illustrations. The Profile staff publishes five issues a year. There are usually Halloween,Christmas, Valentines Day, Spring and gradua- tion editions. In each issue there is a student opinion relating in some way to the topic of the issue. Also included in each issue are both feature and news stories and poems written by the members of the staff. rliild'

IW... Spanish Club The Spanish Club is one of the most active organizations at Kennedy. Under the direction of Mrs Gloria Benford the club sponsored a celebration of ethnic culture, the Interna tional Festival. this yearly event features fod costumes and music from around the world The club members also make pinatas, fill them and distribute them to hospitals and orpa hanges. They visit a nursing home at the holidays each year The club holds an annual flower sale to raise funds for the projects.
