Spring Award Winners There were many award winners in the spring of 1987. One award was recieved by the Law Team for their performance in a mock trial. The Law Team went to the city finals. An art contest was held in the spring, in which many students competed with live photographs, sculptures, and drawings. First place was given to CBrian Fieldsl for his sculpture, second place was awarded to lJeannie Sekeral for her photo- graph. Two bikes were given out for perfect attendance for the quarter. These bikes were donated by the Coca-Cola Company. The two winners for the last two quarters of the '86-'87 school year were: iChristine Morganl, and iMa- ria Marzanol. Senior Follies gl Graduation i , as .fi JP X if 1 X: ' l,- W The graduating class of 1987 par- ticipated in many activities in their last year at Kennedy High. The Sen- ior Superstars events were held in the Spring. The senior divisions competed against each other in dif- ferent sports and games. Some of the activities were: a tug-of-war, rope climb, scavenger hunt, obsta- cle course and a cake decorating contest. The biggest and most excit- ing event for the seniors was, of course, graduation. The graduation ceremony was held on Friday, June 12, 1987, in the Kennedy auditor- ium. The Valedictorian for 1987 was Cathy DeVivo and the Salutato- rian was Bruce Wiatrak. The Year- book staff wishes the graduates a bright and successful future. O Q' 25
