The Kennedy Key Club is a organization that works jointly with Kiwanis International. Throughout this year, the Key Club visited both Blair and Dore schools during the Christmas holiday, sold peanuts on Kiwanis peanut day, and again sponsored the annual Cupids Cotillian. The Spanish Club, sponsored by Senora Gloria Benford, is one of the most enterprising organizations here at Kennedy. Every year members of this club fill pinatas made by Spanish I students, and send them to the Red Cross N during the Christmas holidays. On Valentines day a flower sale is held, and Easter baskets are filled and sent to senior citizens in a convalescent home. This year's International Festival, held before Christmas break, was a special ,rvif-X occasion because the Spanish Club raised S450 for the 'ff' Mexican Earthquake Relief Fund, and S200 for the 415 Colombian Volcano Victims. The money was raised through df' previous bake sales. The club completes the year with a fl picnic in June and a banquet where the new officers are inducted.
