The theme for Homecoming 1985 JM grande amffwgfime Picturesrl-The fantastic Kennedy band, 2-Lori and Joy back to Back Together Again , Opposite page: 1-Lancers Annette Van Der Griend and Anne 0'Shea trot merrily along, 2-Shelley drives the beanmobile, 3-The smiling faces of the 0ueen's Court, 4-Mr. Hiberg and his mini-car, 5-Invictus and the Kennedy Players Rock Around the Block . 1 was At the Hop, Rock Around the Clock, and during the parade and halftime, Kennedy students and faculty brought the 50's back to life. The parade stepped off at 11:00 following the traditional route circling Byrne Elementary School and returning to Kennedy via Archer Avenue. Neighborhood children, mothers and businessmen lined the street to see the decorated cars representing the major orginizations here at Kennedy- the band, major- ettes, cheerleaders, Lancers, Invictus, Spanish Club, Kennedy Players, the Key Club, Concert Band, Chorus and H.E.R.0. A special appearance was made by Mr. Hiberg and his mini-car. As a change of pace, this year's half-time activities were performed prior to the game. At this time we were entertained by the Kennedy band, cheerleaders, majorettes and the crowning of our 1985 Homecoming Queen-Jodi Skrezyna. Homecoming 51

E 5 r f 0ur'1985 Homecoming game was played against Bogan at Rockne Stadium., Our defensive line dominated Bogan's offensive line. Lionell 020 caught a 42 yard pass,-reception. The ,game was almostaa perfect .sucess with the- out standing plays- of Vincent.Reese, Porfjrio Galvez, Ron Bradford, Glenn Stallworth 4 and Captain Lionell- Clemons. Despite the up lifti'ng spirits'-of the crowd, the mighty Blue-Cru failed to make thxe thrid consecutive Homecoming win.. The game ended with 32-0. f ' Opposite page 1-Lionell. and Tony run defense for Jerome. 21Coach looks hopefully. 3-Kennedy gets tackled. 4-Lionell gets ready for action. 5-Dana throws a perfect pass. 1-Kennedy gets ready for the game. 2-Graduate Gary Elem comes from Lincoln State to help Kennedy at Homecoming.
