FOOTBALL '71 Winning is inherent in Kennedy Tradition, it is no longer expected, but taken for granted. This is displayed most obviously by Gryphon Football fans and apparently they are seldom disappointed. Despite early, inconceivable setbacks, Coach Luttre1l's team fought to remain as the most consistently winning one in the oounty. Talent, whether it be in the coaching staff or in the players, was certainly not lacking as indiciated by various polls, statistics, and the All-County team rosters. Though it will be losing ten seniors, the loss will be compensated for by the crop of up and coming juniors and sophomores. Without a doubt, the team had a good year, but its 8-l-0 record did not clinch the top honors in the county as a Group II school with the same record was considered by some sportswriters for that spot.
