A An intimate message from the sponsor: I guess I made my yirst mistake when I was two years old and thought I wanted to be a yearbook sponsor but I had always counted on having an intelligent, hard working, energetic, yearbook staff and especially a real brick for an editor, but then I met George . . . I took him in and taught him all the idiosyncrasies of the fine old craft of yearbook making . . . gave him the advantages of my years of experience in this exciting business . . . got him a new and exciting publisher with many new ideas and innovations . . . had one of the top photographic studios do our photography . . . got one of the most exciting and hard working staHs any editor could possibly expect to have . . . turned them all loose with a free, guiding hand and words of encouragement . . . and here . . . here was the rub . . . pictures missing . . . deadlines missed . . . prob- lems we have never dreamed of now appeared . . . it was fantastic . . but in spite of it all . . . I am much greyer . . . have to drink milk . . . but we do have a yearbook . . . and I believe a good, honest represen- tation of I967 at our school . . . we may have missed some groups here and there or a face here and there but if we did, it was unintentional and we tried very hard to include everyone and everything . . . thank you, stayf, and even you George . . . g.m.a. To Mr. George M. Adams We dedicate GRYPHON '67 It is an unusual dedication that is found at the end of a yearbook, but George M. Adams is an unusual man. As a member of the Kennedy faculty for the past six years, Mr. Adams has not confined his activities solely to teaching. In addition to his duties as Art Department Chairman, he has found time to advise both the Chess Club and Art-Niks. For the past Eve years, Mr. Adams has been an able and amiable advisor to the Gryphon SIHH. He has carried us through the many problems that must be overcome to produce a good yearbook. I, as editor, am sure that all previous Gryphon staffs would join us in expressing our appreciation for the assistance, time and patience he has given us all.
