Dance Committee The Dance Committee headed by Theresa Byers is another auxiliary group of Student Council. Their primary function, of course, is co-ordinating and planning novel themes for dances. Amy Ryan Foreign Exchange Students Pep Committee The Pep Committee has been active during this school year with their main objective to promote overall school spirit. Bruce Grant is the President and Bonnie Brawley is the Vice-President. For every home game the members made a Gryphon that the football players leap through. Decoration for the pep rallies, basketball games, and Student Council functions were made by this energetic group.

'63 'DMC Him. J.F.K. Student Council When Student Council President, Dave Kincaid, stands up and says, this meeting will now come to orderf' problems and possible projects are discussed. The connecting link between students and faculty and the governing body of our school is as always the Students Council. All other student activities work with this organization. It is composed of representatives from every homeroom and each Class President. This year's Vice-president was Cathy Breen, Recording Secretary-Cathy Callahan, Treasurer-Rick McCutcheon, Sargent at Arms-Dennis Howard, Corresponding Secretary-Joyce Ballendorf, Parlimentarian-Dennis Elliot.
