Temple University, M.Ed. HABE RABUCK Lycoming College, B.S. In addition to grammar, students at JFK read and evaluate a wide variety of plays, novels, poems and short stories. Both the classic and modern authors are well represented in the curriculum. This department sponsors a wide range of activities for students who are interested in English or related fields. In an attempt to prepare girls for their future as homemakers, Mrs. Barbara Campbell, department head, and Mrs. M irse gave instruction in the jields of cooking, sewing, budgeting, and other essential parts of family living. Girls ended the year with memories of sewing aprons and seams, of having to eat those things they cooked, and of having to make a budget for themselves. With these experiences behind them, they will doubtlessly make excellent housewives.
