Trenton St. College, M.A. Business Education, an essential part of the curriculum of Kennedy High School, prepares the student for employment immediately upon graduation or entrance into a business or professional college. It ofers courses such as typing and shorthand, as well as many others. An outstanding part of the program is on their job training in various clerical or secretarial positions. The Future Secretaries and Future Business Leaders of America are sponsored by this department. Aching fingers and the sharp clackety clack of the typewriters on the second floor are sure signs that this is a busy hardworking department.

Art Department DEBORAH STERN Connecticut College for Women, B.A. Temple University, M.Ed. With a thousand projects going at once the Art Department is the scene of an endless parade of creativity. Mr. Adams, the department head, and Miss Stern provide every art student with an invigorating year of sketch books, water colors and sink duty. None of the future artists of JFK will forget the rugs which they hooked under the watchful eye of Miss Stern. The experience gained from such projects as designing egg cartons will no doubt lead one of Mr. Adams' ingenious students to revolutionize the packaging industry. GEORGE M.
