in all respects, the tremendous enthusiasm which makes a school great. A school does not simply exist, it must have a history. Schools in our town date back to the early nineteenth century, and to a one- room log cabin. The only early school which remains today is the 'flittle red school-house on Salem road. Before our first high school was built in 1960, students living in our community . . .

change in November of 1965. This time we were moved into the new, uncompleted building on Kennedy Way. That year we enjoyed five months of double sessions in both the old school and the new. This year the majority ofthe students returned as old hands, ready to make this year the best JFK has ever known. The students have always shown enthusiasm in supporting their school and participating in its activities, and this year is not an exception, There are many clubs, from the Curtain Callers. . .
