This was football spring training and excitement for all. Yet the football season came out a little dismal and basketball season rolled around. This was already looked upon as the year for our varsity girls. Although there were not any seniors starting, the team had more overall experience than it had for years. Things looked exceptionally well when we began the year with an usped victory over Mansfield, a top notch AAA club. Things carried on well. Our girls won a consolation trophy at Mansfield la offs For The 1975-1976 Year y I K Wu, . if ff' -W, ,.,, my and a second place trophy at Red Oak followed. Then they opened up the district season with consecutive victories over Keller, Crowley, and Springtown before Granbury entered and our first district loss followed. The team continued on to beat joshua, Lake Worth, and Alvarado to tie for the championship in the first half of district play. This put us here in the district play-offs where a hot first-half gave us a 19-17 lead and a cold second half handed us a 13-point defeat. This put us out of the play-offs, but the manner in which they conducted them- selves on and off the court certainly was first class. GO ob O Senior Class Prophecy As we go down the long and winding road we take a view of the Seniors of 1976. Our journey starts out with the traditional couples. In the distance we see jUDD TULL in his old white mustang speeding happily along giving the curves heck. ' DONNIE LATIMER is on the football field at half-time signing a peace treaty with janet. As we narrow in on the conversation we hear janet ask, Will it last this time, Sweetie? In reply we hear Donnie bellow, We will if you put out that cigarette. Now we see ROD PISTOKACHE, a very wealthy man these days. He teaches rain-dancing while Pat holds the umbrella over him. But we all know that Super Chief is all wet anyway. As we look on we see DEBBIE SHELLEY, The Lucky Lady , making her way through numerous beauty pagents, until she comes to the Miss Universe pagent, which she graciously declines so that she 8 Mitch may revisit her old friends. Loyalty above all. Dear sweet DEBBIE TOO TALL jOHNSON will soon be wed to dear ole Allen. Her basketball career will make her filthy rich. She, Allen, and her own homemade bas- ketball team will eat only at the finest places. Chip-in and Taco Bell where she will order a burrito 8 some olives. KAY CONASTER is the head of Mitchell's Dept. stores and holds the record for sales. Kay's motto is Take Stock in BOB! - BETH BERTHA EVANS will be on T.Y commercials. She will use her megaphone and will sing Where have you been Billy Boy, Billy Boy, while the producer is fixing her cheerleading suit. We now see that MONICA WARREN and Richard are driving down the long and winding road together. She and Richard are very close but she deep down she still has a heart of black . . . Oak Arkansas, that is. CONNIE GOGGANS has turned goatroper on us and has roped ole Rick. She will be seen at all of the Little Britch- es rodeos and she specializes part-time in overhauling worn out Tonka Toys. We see VICTOR HARVEY now enrolled in Carleen's Kissing School. This makes his 5th year but he's still fail- ing. Is it because of his quivering chin or his teacher? Looking down the road a ways, we see DEAN SMITH on the side of the highway in his old yellow truck, while his wife jan is making a minor overhaul under the hood. TWILA ROULSTON in the near future will marry Bill. She will live a happy life riding her Harley Davidson every- where she goes. She will always be the same happy, smil- ing and helpful person she is today. V Y 10 years have past in search of our high school friends. We find a beat up old yellow mustang, Occupant? Regina Harrison. Now having 12 kids. . . alias that new rock-n-roll band The Seagulls. She travels with her hubby, Don booking them at all of the local ZEWS. RANDY TUGGLE is seen still waxing his car, and tak- ing joke lessons from Douglas Polly. We look forward to the year 1980. We can see johnny Cotton top jones playing for the New York Knicks driving his old primed up 55 down the streets of Broadway. MIKE MATHEWS finally graduated at age 65. He is wheeled up to the altar by the only person who'd go riding around with him. . Who is she? Only his mechanic knows for sure. At the end, we see bow- legged Thresa Cunningham in the sunset riding high in the saddle of a horse going 5 m.p. h. while her mouth is going 90. She's still looking for that silent someone who will listen to her at least half the time. Good Luck Seniors, and We Bid you Adieu. Seniors 77 In five years we see CINDY BABBITT married to Ricky, teaching her children to become bow- legged Drill Team Lieutenants . ' BE SURE AND WATCH F OR THESE COMING ATTRACTIONS We see that CECIL BEDFORD has been selected Jani- tor of the Year of K. H. S. He holds the record for clean- ing gyms and has gained 350 lbs. He says, I owe it all to my loving wife and this delicious lunchroom cooking. Checking up on our latest statistics of our graduates, we see that KATHY LUTTRELL TAYLOR has made the Guiness Book of World Records. It is recorded that she has given birth to 73 within 10 years of marriage. Now starring in her own TV show, The Tattle'Tale of KI-IS is GENEVA GALE, guest starring Dean Smith, and co- starring her hubby Scotty. DUSTY CURRY is a liberated man. His wife is working while he is at home doing the cooking. His motto: A man's place is in the kitchen. LILA ROULSTON will be seen rushing around trying to get everything done. Although she says that she will never get married, we all know that one day she will find the right guy. - TODD GOOSE MORGAN has replaced Hugh Hefner as playboy King.
