I APPRECIA T10 YVe trust that you will find pleas- ure and joy in the 1960 Cardinal. The arduous task of pictorially pre- senting the complexion of Kenmore Junior-Senior High School was made a pleasure through the cooperation of many dedicated individuals. ' Mr. Friedman, our advisor, was un- tiring in his efforts. We areipleased to acknowledge the aid and assistance of Messrs. Don Leahy, M. R. Wil- liams, C. T. Monroe, and the M. O'Neil Company's Messrs. Fitzgerald and Rowh. Assistant editor Pam Cook was al- ways willing to help. She also served as sports editor, and with the assist- ance of Larry Dooley, did an excel- lent job covering the scene at Ken- more. Business manager Becky Essig did a most eflicient job handling the adver- tising and patrons' pages. With the able assistance of Jim Armour, they made this yearbook possible. Feature editor Margie Richardson did an outstanding job. Her work was made easier by the splendid co- operation she received from Nancy King. No book is complete without a faculty section. Harold Mann and his assistant, Bonnie Rucker, handled this job excellently. Pat Landis and Peggy May did a fine job of taking over the under- classmen section which was begun by Lois Roberts. Judy Robertson, activities editor, deserves a great deal of credit for her work. Barb Kirkendall ably assisted her. Our line art work was done by Ron Perv. Typist Nancy Droblyen did a splendid job and was capably assisted by Marguerite Prehoda. David Hine and his assistant, john Payne, did a fine job of portraying life at Kenmore with their cameras. There are others, unmentioned, that helped to make this yearbook possible and to all we extend our sincere thanks. May God in His infinite glory grant each one of you success, happiness, and peace. june Kormendy Editor-in-chief
