CLASS HISTGRY I955-I959 FRISKY FRESHMEN June '55 saw us from our grade schools part, Waiting for high school to start. We our schedules did not know, But soon we learned where to go. To all the games we made a trip, And finally we won the Championship. Our subjects here seemed long and hard, Still we were proud to be a Card.v But soon it was over and we had no fear, For we knew we would be sophomores the following year. JUBILANT JUNIORS We came back to school upperclassmen this year, And felt we had not a thing to fear. Nick Yancura was elected class president, Who led us on by will and consent. We ordered class jackets as the rule, And then we were the envy of all the school. Sandi Williams was picked to lead the band, And all the kids thought she was grand. All in all we felt the year a success, But knew the one which we awaited would be the best. W SOPHISTICATED SOPHOMORES Summer vacation closed its door, And we our school chums saw once more. Soon we sought membership to the clubs of our choice, And just being part of the crowd made us rejoice. Football season closed with Pat Bycura crowned our queen, And we rooted and cheered for our wonderful team. juniors and seniors now became our friends, And we actually dreaded the school year to end. Finally spring rolled around and then came june, And we knew we were growing up all too soon. SERIOUS SENIORS Finally the big year came to be , The one we had waited for so patiently. We voted Bill Landis president of our class, Who carried us through the year that was our last. The Varsity Dance featured Judy Lorenz as queen, A lovelier one no one has ever seen. When at last our senior pictures came, To exchange pictures with everyone was our aim. Our prom and banquet was our last social affair, And we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly without a care. So then we looked forward in great anticipation, For the wonderful day of graduation
