Our principal Then consTiTued The maTh and science deparTmenTs in The WashingTon school. ThaT was in I9I8 and Then There were approximaTely only sixTy sTudenTs regisTered in The Tour-year high school. Compare This wiTh our presenT I25O regisTraTion on a Three-year basis. Among oTherS. he TaughT Mr. George Dobson and Major VicTor Owen, presenT members oT The Kenmore High School TaculTy, The lasT of whom is now in The armed Torces. He remembers also many oThers TaculTy members who wenT Through The Kenmore sysTem, buT whom he didnlT acTually Teach. IT was in The presenT iunior high school building in i924 ThaT Mr. Freeman became The principal oT The high school. Over The years he has seen many changes. These changes he noTices parTicularly among The sTudenTs. According To Mr. Freeman, The sTudenTs Today have much more poise, self-assurance, and conTidence Than sTudenTs used To have.
