These last twelve years when our characters and personalities have been molded. It is only fitting that we look back over our school careers and review some of the im- portant happenings. It all began one bright fall day in 1931 when fourteen of the present senior class started out for school clinging to their motherfs hand. These 14 students who have completed their grade and high sehool'education in this school areg' Dean Anderson, Zella Christensen, Fredrika Cooper, Delores Geiger, Ronald Geiger, 'Marie Gehring, John Odland, Donald'Simnons, Bill Taylor, Donald Kuglin, Mar- ian Gravesen, Sarah Krenelka, Kenneth Hanson, Orlan Gorman and , Elsie Christensen. Our next six years were spent leanning readin, writin, and rithi- metic. During this time we attended music and declamation contests in Minot and put on Operettas. Then came the great thrill of entering Jr. High School and what fun we thought it would be to pass to different classrooms. Many new students joined us in the ninth grade, at the ond of this year we graduated from Junior High School. When Sophomeres many of the boys began participating in 'ports we have a very athletic class, almost all of the boys are lettermen. George Wood, Orlan German, Adolph Johnson, John Odland, Ronald Geiger, Bill Taylor, and Donald Sim ons were members of our Championship bas- ketball team. John Odland, Orlan Gorman and Ronald'Geiger' were' mem- bers of the all-conference team. Elected captain of thc 331,g1,gg team was Orlan Gorman, Ronald Geiger was an all-state guard. HMama's Baby Beyn was the name of our Junior Class Play, a comic. Our Senior Class Play was nMHrdorod Aliven a mystery farce. Both of the plays were directed by Miss Dorothy Hvambsal. The highlight of our Junior Year was the Prem. we chose a night- club theme and decorated the gym accordingly. The banquet was served at the Irvin Hotel. The Kay Hi News also won second place in the state contest. Leila Rehn, Sarah Krenelka, Zella Christensen, Marian Gravoson, Marie Gehring, Carol Nelson, Marie Weinberger, Dorthy Barrett, Dorothy Nelson, Inez Knutson, Kenneth Hanson, John Odland, Bill Taylor and Harvey Rodin were members of the'Chorus. Sarah Krenolka and Kenneth Hansen were featured as soloists, Sarah was also a member of the Kay Hi Trio. . ,Q vi' V M, ,
