Student Council The Student Council is composed of classroom representatives from grades seven through twelve. These represent- atives assemble to try to improve our school. Through fund -raising projects the Student Council has been able to raise money to help our school program. Get busy, Dick! We have to have these banners for the game tonight. We thank these students for their fine work and leadership in our school. Beta Club The Beta Club is a service organ ization, aimed to promote honesty integrity, and leadership among students. Its purpose is to reward meritorious achievement and to encourage students to continue their education after high school. The motto of the club is Let us lead by serving others. Repeat after me. . . Glee Club The Glee Club this year under the leader- ship of Mrs. Leland Pate has been very active in school as well as outside. There has been much interest by its members. The Glee Club sang special songs for the Baccalaureate and Graduation exercises. Carolyn Grizzard gave out gifts. Ava Davis read our will. Lynn Nell Vick prophesied our future and Mary Silver, valedictorian, closed our class night exercises.
