SENIOR CLASS PROP!-IECY Aslcame home from a hard day s work at the offrce I sank into my easy chan and prcked up the paper Immedrately a certa1n headllne caught my eye PLANE CRASH prlot lost hrs license because he lost con trol of hrs plane wh1le watchrng a stewardess cross the runway on a wlndy day Much to my surprrse the prlot was Jerry Porterfreld I hurrledly turned to the comlc page to read my favorrte Arn t Love Grand by Ron Poore Hls hfe IS rather heavrly scheduled for he 15 also an ordamed ITIIIIISICK and preaches 1n the chapel at Hasungs College As I leafed on through the paper my eye caught the Gab Sectron by Norma Monthey Then lthought of Delorrs J8COb1lZ who IS now Norma s secretary To acquarntmyself wrth the communrty news I looked at the next column and saw that Dean Woodman who IS a noted author of the book FII-'TEEN EASY LESSONS ON HOW TO APPEAR AMBITIOUS rs v1s1t1ng at hrs home ln Kenesaw I then notrced that Loren Jacobltz boughta b1g ranch rn Hayland Nebraska I also read where Presrdent Jack Jackson was to stop U1 Kenesaw on hrs way to Washmgton As my eye caught the br1dal sect1on I notrced Marjorre Krmle s weddmg prcture Ilooked to see the mov1e now showrng The name of ll was Cxgarettes Whrskey and Wrld W1ld Women co starrmg Len Moeller I lard my paper down and flrcked on the TV set to statlon KHS and saw the band of Amer1ca srgnmg off I xmmedrately recognrzed the duector who was Janet Klusman I SW1IChCd to a different channel The pres rdent of the Purran Seed Co was speakrng Who could xt be but Kexth Placke I was just ready to shut the TV off when I saw an advertlsement featurmg Roger F1nn1gsm1er s mechanrc shop the best tn the world because he has that certaln touch As I SII here thlnkrng about our class of 55 Ihave heard about each one except Volon Jeneane and Sh1r1ey I found they are happrly marrred and have settled down close to each other Volon 15 at the head of the Weddtng license bureau Shrrley IS ruruung the bachelor s home just across the street from the Young mard s home for wluch Ieneane rs responsrble NEWS , . . . , . , . , , , , . .... . . , , . , . , . ll'

SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In September ofl95l seventeen eager freshmen entered Kenesaw High School, anxious to see who would be their classmates. Our sponsor for the freshman year was Mrs. Bohlke. We were different from most classes for we were looking forward to initiation instead of dreading it. We found it was more pleasure than work. At the end of the first semester Bernard Karr left us. We had two class parties. The first was a freshmen- sophomore picnic. Later in the year we had a picnic at the river.
