PIGSKIN PLAYERS The freshman football team brought the season to a close with a record of 2 wins and 4 losses. The squad was coached by Mr. Ayton and Mr. Daniels. The seventh and eighth grade football team, coached by Mr. Savage and Mr. Szupryn, had a most successful season. The Meteors won 5 out of 6 games and lost only to Garrett. CO-ED SPORTS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM This was the first year for an intra- mural basketball program at our junior high. The organization was initiated by Mr. Savage and Mr. Czupryn who also officiated the games. There were eight participating teams with between eight and nine members on each team. The Royals and Pacers were tied for first place when the season ended, with the former winning the tourney. Royals: ROW ONE: Kent Caldwell, Ron Byerly, Rodger Knox. ROW TWO: Kevin Knott, Lee Howard, Dale De- Graff, Regan Ford. Boys versus girls in volleyball.
