I if Y-TEEN OFFICERS The Kendallville Junior High Y ' Teens Club is a member of the National Young Women ' s Christian Association. Y ' Teens belong to a world wide fellowship of girls of every race and creed with its purpose to build a fellowship of girls devoted to the ideals of personal and social living as Christians. Their goals are to grow as a person in friendship with people of all races and religions. Their activities in- cluded a dance to raise money for a needy family in Kendallville and a series of speakers on colleges and religions. Y ' Teens visit Catholic Church. Y-TEENS ORGANIZATION

ROW 2: Cindy Durbin, Sandra Zeedyk, Seventh Grade Representatives; Sally Reith, Michelle Purdy, Eighth Grade Representatives. ROW 3: Mr. Shomber, Sponsor. During the 1967-68 school year, the Student Council has sponsored and taken part in many memorable and beneficial events. Among these were the Cupid ' s Capers dance, a bake sale, a skating party, and their community project which was to send packages to boys in Vietnam. They constructed a constitution and worked on a dress code both of which are left to future Student Councils. The council feels that this year they were very well organized and accomplished the goals they set out to achieve. Council works hard to make the dance a success.

ROCKET CLUB The Rocket Club blasted off to a great start with a crew of eleven members. Al- though there was no specific leader, the club members ' in- terest soared to urge them to probe into the field of rocketry. MEMBERS: ROW 1: Stephen Toth, Kevin Carroll, Kurt Hayden, Vance Hamlin, David Rhea. ROW 2: Greg Wood, Paul Sprandel, Jeff Fish, Mike Mapes, Dan Lawson, Mike Carroll. BUILDING THE FUTURE FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA The Future Farmers of America is an organization of boys studying agricul- ture under their sponsor, Mr. Bloom. This group has participated in crop judging and district contests. MEMBERS: Bob Edwards, Philip Rodgers, Danny Strater, Bob Downum.
