FRESHMAN FAREWELL As we go on to greater academic achievements, we leave behind us fond memories of the past three years. During junior high we have witnessed many changes both in others and ourselves. With the help of guiding teachers and faculty, we have learned to reach for higher goals and to become individuals. In these short years we have taken part in many enjoyable and worthwhile activities which we will always remember. One of these was the first musical to be presented by this school. We have begun to form a reputable standing in the athletic field which we hope to continue in our remaining years of high school. As a class we have enjoyed the company of one another at our three class parties. Although we are only freshmen, we feel we have gained much knowledge and self-assurance from the people and surroundings of this junior high building. They have provided us with the confidence we needed to strive for new and better opportunities and accomplish- ments. With these three years behind us, we also feel we are well prepared to go on through high school. We now realize the brevity of the years left in our high school ed- ucation. Even though we regret leaving the security of junior high, we are glad to avail ourselves to new ideas. We now leave our posi- tion as freshmen to the eighth graders, who will eagerly replace us and our duties. Good luck to them and all other students who are to follow. FRESHMAN OFFICERS Sponsors, Mr. Abbs, Mrs. Peck, Miss Flook; Vice -president, Clyde Snellenberger; Sec- retary, Marilynn Constantine; President, Larry Holbrook.
