Sixteen ineinhers and three sponsors 4 attended this eonferenee which furthered ' our education in drainaties. The highlight of the week was the Talent Show on Fri- day night. XYe are proud to say that we had two girls perform in this show. Ann Fool' played her inariinha and Rosemary Steekley did a heautiful hzillet. One-Act Plays Sunday Costs Five Pesos Rena Ortstadt, Becky Zimmer- man, Rosemary Steckley. Each of the one-act comedies brought a great deal of laughter in our auditorium. A fine for Sunday fighting in Mexico created humor in Sunday Costs Five Pesos. The Trysting Place indicated that the hotel lohhy was not as secluded as each couple thought it was. Student Assistants Kendallville High School has many fine stu- dent assistants. Several students are busy helping Miss Valma Gilliland in the library checking out books, put- ting them on the shelves, and distributing notice slips for over-due books. The library assistants are Nancy Mallon, jane Autenrieth, Eleanor Eshelman, jean XVright, Diana johnson, and Judy Smart fnot shownj. The office assistants work for Mrs. Adele Ruderman and Principal R. VV. Tritch collect- ing absence slips, answering the telephone. typing stencils, running errands, and mimeo- graphing. These students are Bob McCormick, Eleanor Eshelman. Kathy Sutton, Carolyn Reade, Linda Bostwick, Mrs. Ruderman, Eliza- beth Freed. Norma Ruderman, jack Laughlin. and Priscilla Tesch Cnot shownj. Shirley Dukes is the business assistant for Miss Mae Stephens. Also several students assist Mrs. Stella Mallon by administering first aid and assisting with dental and health examinations.
