NVe have spent four happy years preparing ourselves for the future. This year was the busiest and most pleasant, right from the beginning of school in the fall to the night of commencement. During this year as seniors, we have traded senior pictures and name cards and received our announcements. Also, we chose our baccalaureate speaker, attended the banquet, senior tea, senior picnic, and Y-Teen dance. Our teamwork as juniors 102 presented the seniors with Neptune,s Court at the junior-senior banquet. Our class pulled together to put on successful class parties and 1 after-game dances. These occasions will be kept in our memories, never to be forgotten. Graduation was sad, we left our classmates behind. Yet, it was the happiest moment of our lives because we had just passed the first big step into a life of great responsibility. Yes! XVe say farewell to the halls, classrooms, teach- ers, and friends, but never good-by to the memories which will linger always. Events during the year were the annual school Christmas program, the May Festival, and Baccalaureate. The Concert Club, a portion of the girls' chorus, attended the contest sponsored by the Northern Indiana School Band, Or- chestra, Vocal Association. Among the special groups formed this year were the mixed ensemble, two quartets, and a girls' sextet. The sextet sang for auditorium programs, Y-Teen Mother-Daughter Tea, school and community clubs, and the solo and ensemble contest. The two vocal groups, girls' chorus and boys' glee club, have enjoyed work- ing on such things as trios, rhythm, word pronunciation, and various types of songs. ranging from religious to humorous. They have learned to appreciate music by both studying and performing it. 1 ' E- ' A .M w i .Q A 2 X r It X 'lil X' X 'Q 1- . P K Y W . RELIABLE MACHINE SHOP mm. Elisa!
