BOARD OF CONTROL The Board of Control is a policy-making body in Kl-l.S. lts functions are to,assist.in,,managing school activities not controlled by the Board of Educa- tion and to act upon recommendation of the Student Forum. The nine meme bers are Mr. Tritch who is the presiding officer, four teachers appointed by him and four students. The student members are the presidents of the senior and junior classes, and one boy and one girl chosen by the student body. Seated in the picture are Mr. Schwab, Miss Stephens, Mr, Tritch, Miss Power, Mr. Cfuymon standing are Terry Kurtz, Marilyn Seagly, Larry Iarrett, and Hermie Davis, STUDENT FORUM The Student Forum maintains a close student- teacher relationship, it gives leadership and citizen- ship training, and builds better school morale by providing an opportunity for students to voice their opinions on school government. The sixteen student representatives are elected by classes, three from each senior high class and two from each junior high class This group elects two teachers to serve -as advisors. A forum recommendation is presented to the Board of Control for action and must be passed by this board before it can become a school oolicy.
