Vwwvlzg Qoocefv In the process of compiling a 13-6-2 record for 1973, the Eagle Soccer machine captured their fifth straight Genesee Regional League title and the section V-Class C Co-championships. The Eagles, captained by Dave Cole and Craig Lape outscored the opponents 55 to 30 with Jeff Reamer leading the team with 17 goals. Five Kendall boosters were named to the League All-Star team: Tim Tytler and Roger Tabor at fullback, Craig Lape at halfback, and leff Reamer and Mark Whipple on the line. The 14 graduat- 1ng seniors extend best wishes to future K . C . S . teams. ROW 2: Coach Ernen- wein, Keith Whipple. Bill Hardenbrook, Gary Kludt, Ed Gaes- sar, Mike Furness, Walter Rutland, Tom Cole, Rick Zinsmeis- ter, Doug Jones. ROW 3: Andy Elmore, Phil D'Agostino, Ira Fair, Cliff Rhoades, Mike Iurhs, Dick Meiers, Dale Steffen. ROW 4: Drew Montante, Jeff Cliff , John Cole - Manager. Bruce Mar- shal. JM Kendal1's Junior Soccer Eagles posted a 9-3-1 record. Co-Captains Torn Cole. John Mikels and Keith Whipple lead the JV'S which defeated Hilton, Bergen, and R. D . S . twice . Split even with Greece and Wheatland-Chili while losing to power Greece-Arcadia. The JVs played their greatest game of the year versus Holley downing the Hawks 4-1. Eighteen players scored or assisted for the well-balanced Junior Eagles. Scoring honors went to Keith Whipple with Nate Bouie , Craig Wolf, and Eric Zinsmeister close behind. Defensively Andy Keyser, Mark Maynard, Tom Cole and John Mikels assisted Goalie Jim Gerbig in holding the opposition to two goals or less eight time . Freshmen Gary Kludt, Phil D'Agostino, Ed Gaesser, Drew Montante and Bruce Marshall improved as the year went by. With a large class graduating from the Varsity, many of this year's JVs will be fighting for sports on the '74 Varsity.
