,j'l-liglv The Junior High Band consists of music students from grades seven, eight and nine . However, not all students playing instruments in these grades are in the band. They must first meet the requirements and level of performance of the group before entering. The band has forty-five members and prac- tices twice a week for forty-five minute sessions. The band is used both as a training ground for young musi- cians and as a performance outlet for students' musical expression and endeavors. It also serves as a laboratory for promoting musical curiosity and for solving many musical problems. Music played covers a range from Bach to rock. ,Rex ynnt at 6 1 V , 1' . , ..,, T T fssivt s DIRECTOR - Mr. John Vitale
