Gleason LIBRARY CLUB The Library Club is open to all students in grades 7-l2. It is a non-profit organization whose aim is serving the student body. The Library Club members assist the librarian and aid in making library facilities accessible to the students. They work at the desk charging books and filing cards. They put books away and do other tasks that are necessary to a well-functioning library. The members work on a regular schedule during tree periods. This year there are T5 members in the Club. The new Elementary Library was opened in November ot this year. It serves the children from kindergarten thru 6 grade, and is located in the elementary section of the school. Mrs. Elizabeth Hall is the library aid in the Elementary Library. Mrs. Rose DellaCosta is the High School aid. The band members traveled to Buffalo to the state V.F.W. parade and came home best appearing marching unit. Shortly after, they set out for Lockport and the sesquicentennial, return- ing with second place At the end of the sum mer they returned from the state fair at Syracuse In ninth place Forty five band members at tended the County Music Festival at Holley . .
