Suhr CLASS GF i958 The first project for the Juniors this year was the junior Prom which was held on October 26. l-lallowe'en was chosen as the theme for the decorations. and music for round and square dancing was furnished by the Glenn Marshall orchestra. Although the Prom was not a great financial success, the juniors regarded it as one of the best social events of the year. ln january the juniors presented a movie. The Glenn Miller Story , starring james Stewart and Iune Allyson. This netted a profit of S75. This year, for the first time, the junior Class put on a Fish Supper in March. In past years this had been a Senior project. l-lowever. it was felt that in order to lighten the load of money-making activities of the senior year, the usual supper should be held during the junior year. The class worked hard on their supper, and their profit of S200 filled a void in their treasury. The last social event of the season will be the Junior-Senior picnic in june. Plans for this have not yet been made. The class elected the following officers: President Sidney Strasenburgh. Vice- President Elsa Keberle, Treasurer Judy jurhs, and Secretary Kathleen Nowacli. Larry Bergevin and David Rath represented the class on the Student Councilg Chris- tine Seifert and Joe Tauschek, on the junior Red Cross. Mrs. Traber is class advisor. Elsa Keberle and George Heidemann were chosen to represent the Iunior Class at the Citizenship Education Conference in Syracuse on April 27.
