A. organized officially for the year by electing the following officers: President, Harold Bolton, Vice President, Richard Blissg Secretary, Cole Harclenbrookg Treasurer, Ward Weedg Reporter, Paul Behnkeg and Sentinel, Raymond Behrend. The group is advised by Mr. William Diedrich. The refreshment sales during home basketball games were more successful than ever this year. Part of the funds were used to help sponsor the Kendall Iunior Rifle Club. The club expects this to be an annual F. F. A. service to the community. On VVashington's Birthday a team of egg graders went to the annual Poultry Show in Rochester to compete with 24 other schools. The group placed fifth. The F. F. A. year was highlighted by a very successful Father and Son Banquet. In May three F. F. A. members, Cole I-lardenbrook, Paul Behnke, and Dick Bliss attended the annual State Convention at Baldwinsville. Mr. Diedrich accom- panied the boys to the three-day meeting.

Preston FUTURE HOMEMAKERS OF AMERICA The current school year found the F. H. A. with 28 members. During the year President Betty Mills, Vice-President Marilynn Vick, Treasurer Joanne Reamer, Secretary Carol Mann, and Reporter Nancy Hawthorne directed the club program with the assistance of Miss Elaine Soltys. In October many of the girls participated in the annual cherry pie baking con- test. The winners were Dorothy Heidemann, first, Norna Akey, secondg and Shirley Brown, third. Activities of the club this year included serving for the F. F. A. Banquet, a Christmas party complete with a caroling trip, attendance at the F. H. A. Spring Rally, and a roller skating party. . , On May 18, the annual Mother and Daughter Banquet was held in the school cafeteria. Following dinner, which was served by the F. F. A. boys, the girls were entertained by two short plays, singing, and speeches.

Coopenberg JUNIOR RED CROSS COUNCIL The junior Red Cross Council is made up of two representatives from each class, seven through twelve. These students carry on the junior Red Cross work for the Kendall student body under the direction of the Albion Chapter of the American Red Cross. The officers for this year are as follows: President, Paul Behnkeg Secretary, Nancy Johnstong Treasurer, Sybil Furness. The group advisor is Mrs. Brehse. The Junior Red Cross Council handles the membership drive of the National junior Red Cross in October of each year. All money collected is sent to the Albion Chapter of the American Red Cross. During the year the council sells school supplies. The proceeds from their store and from their refreshment booth at the Field Day are used to equip a school supply chest which is sent to a school overseas.
