Behrend MASK AND WIC CLUB This year the Dramatic Club completed its ninth year. As in past years, the principal project of the club was the production on April 1, 1955, of three one-act plays. These were The Hardwick Mysteryi' directed by Mr. Clow, Take a Letter directed by Miss Dolan, and Elmer and the Lovebugn directed by Mrs. Clow. All members of the club participated in some phase of the production of these plays. During the first semester the club joined forces with the Music Department to present a Christmas pageant for the high school on December 22, 1955. It is hoped that the pageant will become an annual project. The final c1ub activity of the year was a picnic in honor of the senior members. At this time the results of the election of officers for 1955-56 were announced. The officers of the club this year were as follows: President, Ioan Hazeng Senior Vice-President, Beverly Behrendg junior Vice-President, Mary Steffeng Sophomore Vice-President, Harold Passineaug Secretary, Nancy Suhrg and Treasurer, Edith Nichols.

Snyder STUDENT COUNCIL In a school wide election in the spring of '54, Gene Whipple was chosen as Presidentg David Thompson, Vice-Presidentg Patricia Seaman, Secretaryg and Harold Bolton, Treasurer of the Council. Advised and directed by Mr. Clow, the group served for the '54-'55 school year. . During the basketball season the Council sold tickets at the home games and prepared supper for the cheerleaders and players for the away games. This year, for the first time, the Student Council has been working with the County Student Council of which Gene Whipple is Vice President. The group also treated the soccer and basketball players and the cheerleaders .to a Rochester Royals' basketball game. The spring of '55 found the High School classes actively campaigning for their candidates for the offices in the Student Council. Out of a group of very good nominees the following were elected: President, Harold Boltong Vice-President, Chuck Boltong Secretary, Ellen Hazen, and Treasurer, Mary Steffen.

Jensen PRESS CLUB The Press Club, with an active membership of 20, publishes Hi-Lights, the school newspaper. Eight editions of Hi-Lights were printed this year. Proceeds from the sale of Hi-Lights are used to buy supplies for succeeding editions. ' Press Club membersvisited the Rochester Times Union building to see what goes on behind the scenes of a big newspaper. ln the fall a delegation attended the Empire State School Press Association at Syracuse University. Editor, assistant editor, and make-up editor of the paper are Dorothy I-leidemann, Carol Mann, and Mildred Helfer, respectively. Advisors of the club are Miss Dolan and Miss Eldred.
