Hlsforg of The bluss of 1956 When we entered Kempton Communlty Hlgh School ln 1952 we seemed very green and chlldlsh to the upperclass men About three weeks after school started we had the dreadful experlence of belng lnxtlated We survlved how ever and laughed about lt long after The class took part ln many all school act1v1t1es lncludlng the magazlne dr1ve the Halloween Carnlval skatlng partles and the Chrlstmas program Durlng the flrst semester all of the glrls were Several classmates also Jolned chorus and band and went to contests Our class helped w1th the Frosh Soph Tourna ment and f1n1shed the year by servlng at the Prom At the end of our Freshman year there were twenty two IH our class Some of our classmates moved away and others had entered durmg the year Our Sophomore year began 1n 1953 Wlth exghteen stu dents IH the class As Sophomores we felt we knew our way around and had no mercy on the Freshmen when we 1n1t1ated them Th1s year we have been worklng qulte hard to make money We had a paper dr1ve and two booths at the wlnter carnlval We also helped wlth the Frosh Soph lournament agaln In the sprlng We had a car washlng day and another paper dr1ve initiatedlinto F.H.A. and most of the boys into F.F.A.
