BASEBALL Graduation depleted the ranks of the baseball team, however it was decided to carry on with what was left of last year's team, and with what new mater: ial could be picked up among the new-comers. A fall schedule was played in which the follow- ing boys took partsm Raymond Schildt, pitcherg Dale Gish, catchewg Bill Busse, first-baseg Louis Unfer, Jr., secondebaseg Clayton Marks, short-stopg Donald Qefferman, third-base, Dwaine Cook, Floyd Gooding, Donald Wright, and Keith Wilson, outfielders. A number of games will be played after the track season has been closed this spring. TRACK Track is still a new sport at the Kempton High School. However, a dozen boys worked faithfully Witt out benefit of a track or much equipment. The follow- ing boys comprised the squad. CE All !-HD The Girl's Athletic Association this year was made up of about thirty girls. These girls must have a physical examinat- ion before they can be initiated into G. A.A. Margery Farley This year our activities have consisted of' volleyball, soft ball, basketball, and dancing, Twenty five girls participated in the telw egraphic basketball tournament which was held on March fifth. We are happy to say that our club was well represented at the Kankakee Play Day in the early falls OBJECT The object of the Girl's Athletic Assoc- iation is to stimulate interest in Girl's Athletics and gymnastics and to standardize and promote ideals of health and sportsmanu ship.
