KEMPTON HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL The 1940 - 41 basketball season for the Kemp- ton High school was a notable success. The team won 12 out of 20 regular games on its schedule. The boys played some of the best teams in this re- gion and were nearly always outsiiei. The highlight of the entire season was the one point defeat at the hands of Cullom High School, the team that later won the Piper City District and became the runner-up at the Dwight Regional.
