Of course Danny Alleman was elected as the high f???l ranking position of Student Body President. As our second session convened we elected Baymond Martin as President, Glen Dolar as Vice-President, and Dolores Parent as Secretary-Treasurer. Our biggest event was our Sophomore Ball entitled the 'Cinderella Ball.' The atmos- phere was that of golden slippers, and of course the hands of the clock pointed to midnight. By now we were becoming full-fledged members of the school. As Junior statesmen, we began our third session by elect- ing Ted Gunter, Delano Wood, and Margie Heed to hold our highest offices. When we received lst prize for our float in the Homecoming Parade, we proved that we were going to make a successful year. Between hopping hats and flying candles, the play entitled the 'Night Owl,' was a great success. Next the Seniors gave the Junior Prom in which Darlene Anelli, was chosen Queen, and Gerry Gagliardi and Margie Beed her attendants. With full steam ahead we thun- dered on the more glory by taking lst place in the Inter- Class Tournament. To end this successful year we enter- tained the Seniors with the best dance of the school in several years, with the Senior Ball, 'Chinatown.' Taking our honored places as Seniors we elected Fred Findlay, Donald Juvan, and Dolores Parent as officers. We began the ball rolling with our successful Carnival skit 'Goofus.' Next we made a successful Junior Prom, with the theme of 'Blue Christmas.' We then captured lst place in both the basketball and baseball tournament. Ever Since Eve, was the Senior Class Play, produced and rated as the best amatdur play 'Ever Since Eve.' And for the support of the declaration and with a firm reliance on what the future holds for us, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor. '- - , x5.,i.. It is the year 1965 and the biggest Alumni lomecoming Dance in the history of Kemmerer High School is in full swing with the music of To my Dorsey and his orchestra. The dance is taking place in the beautiful new gymnasium dedicated to the 'Class of 1953'. Every- one who went to the school from 1945 to 1960 is attending. Mr. Bowen, who is now dancing with his wife, recentlv won the Pulitzer Prize for his magnificent book, How to be a Uoman Killer. Mr. Clifford Pomeroy, di- rector of the United States Military Acade- my, is here with his wife and family. Fntering is Donald Juvan and Margaret Reed. Donald is dressed in a beautiful blue suit adorned with a white carnation, while Nbrgaret is wearing a pink ballerina formal. Since Donald is the manager of the 'Juvan-lupcho Carpenter's Association', Margaret collects rare wood. Sweeping in behind this couple is John Lupcho. And who is this with him? Why it is Virginia Potter! Virginia, as you all know, is one of the top models in Holly- wood's Bon Marche, so we should feel proud to have her here. Billy Gianola just tapped Darlene An- nelli's escort on the shoulder. It is hard to believe that Darlene and Matt Bar- bero are the happiest couple in the world. That is, according to Truthful Marriages, edited by Billy. Danny Alleman and Marilyn Beachler have just come in. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Beachler just announced the engage- ment of their daughter, Marilyn, to Danny. Gerry Gagliardi and Betty Gilchrist have really made a success of their beauty shoppe. Their ideas are being used by some of the leading Parisian beauty operators. Three instructors of OPU, Fred Findlay, Lester Jones, and Jon Beyda, are talking shop and looking over old students. You'll remember them! Fred Findlay, biology pro- fessor, Lester Jones, who will soon be getting his doctor's degree, and Jon Beyda who is Professor of Zoology at Princeton University. Gary Rawlings, Bonnie Niel, and Jim Sawaya pooled their resources and devel- oped the largest cattle ranch in Austra- lia. When they come in, they left their guns and spurs at the door. Dolores Parent is a big game huntress and she also had to leave her rifle at the door. ln Africa Dolores was hunting rhinoceroses. Velma Borino, who is greeting them, came down x from Washington. We are glad to learn that Velma is quite an expert on forming this country's foreign policy. They are all making up for lost time talking to Teddy Gunter, who is now in the Army as 'Chief Cook and Bottle Washerf Jimmy 'Tex' Brown and his wife, Bette Sudonick, are having an argu- ment with another on the floor about who bumped into who. Jimmy is Dean of Wesleyan College for Girls. The other couple, Paul Anderson and Jo' Anne Fiorini, look as if they are getting the better of the argument. As you all know, Paul and JoAnne are in the jet business together. Paul is the instructorand JoAnne is none other than his secretary. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Beachler just announced the engagement of their daughter Marilyn, to Danny Alleman . Glenn Dolar, an undertaker, and Otto Pikl, head of the Orlando Recreation Department, are having a heart-to-heart talk. Otto, who give the boys a good workout, also gives Glenn a good supply of customers. Helen Kolata, a prominent photo- grapher, is helping to arrange the lighting for the floor show. Fran- cis Lenatti is also putting in her two cents worth. As a bootlegger, she has a natural gift for arranging the indirect lighting, the bulbs must be well hidden. At last everything is set. The lights din, and the band plays soft strains of music. George Miyake will be the MC--justthe person, as he now has a question and answer program on NBC. First on the pro- gram is Mary Jo Fatica, a rising opera star. All we can say is--'The Metropolitan Opera isn't what it used to bel' Fred Celebrin is next, and Fred is going to give us an exhb bition of how he helped defeat the Diamondville Broncs when he played for the Globetrotters a few days ago. And last, but not least, is Carol Bott. She will entertain us with a concerto by the world known composer of opera music, Raymond Martin, Sr. So on went the dance and on went the lives of the glass--we wish for each of them good luck and happiness -xkqx X Sim 1 A H X5 f im. if 77lM SSV7O N .
