A few of the schoo1's musicians organized an orchestra to play for xg- 1 5 some of the school dances. It has contributed to the success and enjoyment of our - 2' v school. This year's band numbers twenty-four and consists of sixth, seventh and Q 1 1 -1'-, eighth grade students. F 5 , The band, under the able direction of Mr. Mackay, did well at our music fes- y tival, receiving a Division II rating in concert band and a Division I in marching. l ' ' - . Several members played with the high school band during this year. ' j it K They had their picture in the Salt Lake Tribune, showing them leading the fes- I . f ' tival parade.
