GREETINGS URING this first year of the War, even here in school we have become more closely knit together by our definite purpose of helping to fur- ther the cause of our country in every Way that We can. In classes, clubs and assem- blies We have, too, shared with each other the disappointment of our reverses in the war and together we have thrilled at the heroism of General MacArthur. ln the years to come may, then, this book bring you happy memories of your associations here at Kelvyn and recall more vividly for you the stirring events of this year. We must also be willing and anxious to work and to sacrifice in order that the principles and ideals in which we take pride remain intact. We must now, more than ever before, understand the meaning of cooperation and team spirit. These should be direct outcomes of your high school experience-both in and out of the classroom.
