Joanne Kay — Jo¬ anne, “the red,” sometimes brown- head of Rm 40. has interests out west. Jo has a tendency to “niel” in that direction. Lynn Kelly —Room 40’s giggling bomb¬ shell (quote Libby) has many varying interests including the City Hydro and North Dakota. Won¬ der why??? AMBI¬ TION : Garbage col¬ lecting. Lome Lachance — Lome, whose best friend this year is Mr. Orlikow, be¬ lieves in a mutual pupil - teacher un¬ derstanding. AMBI¬ TION — To form a pupil and teacher association. Frank Langer — An import from West Germany who came to Kelvin via the den of learning, St. Paul’s. “Work has killed many a fool” — Frank’s not tak¬ ing any chances. Arnold Levenlhal— Is the brains be¬ hind the football commercials, and the K.T.H.S. radio station. He is quite an artist—he draws the girls. Lois Ludwick — A new addition to the contact lenses club, who is more uni¬ versally known for the class parties she has. Bruce McAuley —Is a guy who “speaks no evil,” “does no evil,” and “drinks no evil,” but he still finds it tough to keep awake all day. Brian McLean —Our favourite class pres¬ ident and football all-star can usually be found day¬ dreaming. Brian’s favourite expression is ‘‘check the honey.” Marnie McWilliams — Rm 40’s musician can usually be seen sneaking up the side stairs with her violin. FAVOURITE EXPRESSION: “Who’s got their runners here?” Joan Mercer — Joan can be seen racing down Corydon to the riding stables in her car, usually trailed by “the Fuzz.” Jim Millar — Jim’s another one of the guys who’s God’s gift to women. Jim is like a light — he goes out every night. Sharon Miville — Rm. 40’s source of homework. Sharon’s main interest is in Grant Park, even though she still plans to grace Kel¬ vin’s halls next year. Heather Moon — An ardent drama club enthusiast can usu¬ ally be found re- hearsing love scenes. Her week¬ ends are divided be¬ tween The H. B. Co. and G. M. Pam Moore — She seems like the quiet type but she sure has some wild hen parties. After Gr. 12 Pam plans to enter nursing. Harry Olenick — Adds some humour to room 40. He ex¬ cels in school spirit and can be heard asking the girls to “gimme a K” . . . no comment. Ralph Pearce —“All work and no play” is no fun, so Ralph left us in Septem¬ ber for “greener pastures.” M a r n i Render — “Legs” is famous for her stockings — striped, checked, plaid, and coloured. Favourite expressi¬ on: “Anybody got a comb.” Debbie Rice — She looks sweet ’n in¬ nocent but she sure can fight ... eh John!!! Deb is also Rm. 40’s mathemat¬ ical whiz! A Don Stewart —Don’s the fella who “rolls his own” during study periods. “Well I guess it’s only cheaper - like,” says Don. Ambition: To own a speedshop. A Ray Teal — Here’s a guy that’s a real sports enthusiast . . . especially from the betting end. Ray golfs in the sum¬ mer, plays hockey in the winter, and fits in a little home¬ work in-between. CAMERA SHY John Topping — Room 40’s “singing idol” who compos¬ es a new song each week. Best of luck in the future Elvis. . i Tom Townsend — “That innocent look is no disguise, for mischief lurks in both his eyes. When not trying to sell tickets, he’s stand¬ ing outside the chemistry room. Betty Walters —Mr. Burn’s “pride ’n joy” can usually be seen tearing into the room at 9:05. She spends her spare time collect¬ ing dimes for the Red Cross. Nelleke Westerhuis — Nelleke has been around the world one and a half times. She is fa¬ mous for those lovely ski sweaters. She would like to return to Holland in the future. Favorite pastime: Skiing??

Owen Pendree — Can be seen bomb¬ ing around in his green car?!? “Do your s 1 e e p i n g at home!!” says Miss Griffiths. Interests— all sports! Gerald Pope— “When I feel like working I just lie down until the feel¬ ing passes!!” Future Blue Bomber can be seen at four, yelling at the Clip¬ pers. Bruce Riddell —Has a car that seems to get parked in the wrong places. What is the license num¬ ber again Bruce? Ambition — To get through eleven. Fu¬ ture undecided. P e 9 9 Y Robson — There’s a scream and a wild roar. It’s only Peggy chasing Joan through the door. Peg’s “peg o’ her heart” is a cer¬ tain guy at St. John’s. Joan Sharp e— “There are things in life I can do without — school, curiosity, freckles and doubt.” Joan is “Sharpe” at her studies and is Peg¬ gy’s partner in crime. Joan is Rm. 38’s president. A1 Soulhby —“Time passes; why can’t I?” He can be seen bombing around in his green Vauxhall. His interests — un¬ printable — and his future is undecided. Merrily Sue Walker — When she is good she is very, very good, but when she is bad she is inter¬ esting. Interests in¬ clude a certain per¬ son in second year Commerce. Steve Walsh — “Dearest comrades, do not weep. I’m not dead, I’m just asleep.” Ambition— to get through elev¬ en. Good Luck Steve. Dennis West — He’s not noisy, loud, or gay, but enjoys life in his own quiet way. Next year we will see him back for grade 12. Rodger Young — If there were a nip in the air — he’d drink it. Rodger can be seen bombing around in his blue jalopy. Carolyn Zimmer¬ man — Life is just a merry - go - round but how she loves to circulate. Carol is Mr. Lyon’s fa¬ vorite student (dra¬ matic irony). M The Cell Bob Duncan — “Skunk” always does his homework for the first period during the ?pening exercises. His main interest lies in Rm. 38. Libby Alexander — “If ignorance is bliss ’tis foolish to be wise” — eh Lib. Besides clowning, our class V.P. also knows her frat. songs well. Sally Fisher — Our sports - captain i s usually a perfec¬ tionist in every sport. What about fishing though, Sal? ft O ' Jk , Warren Baldwin — The boy with “the great name.” •— quote Mr. Orlikow. Can usually be seen racing down to the basement at 4:00. Barry Hunter —One of the most popular boys in Rm. 40 — He has a swimming pool. He’s also a freqyent haunter of “Stan’s.” Jack Black —“Black- Jack,” One of our quieter boys — as a rule, is very ac¬ tive in all sports, especially soccer. f VI Bob Hurley — Red¬ heads attract red¬ heads and Bob’s at¬ traction lies in Rm. 24. A St. Paul’s im¬ port, Bob plans to take his Grade 12 at Kelvin. Barrie Campbell — Barrie’s the king of the blushers. He is always operating some kind of pool — (not swimming), ten months of the year. a Garnet Jacket — Garnet is another of our 5-year men who has already put in 3 instalments. Come on Romeo — give the girls a wink!! Penny Dozar —When Penny’s not strug¬ gling with her con¬ tacts, she’s telling Mr. Q. about bleaching chemicals.
