Superintendent The Kelso Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Roy Dennis, began his work as superin- tendent in 'l950. Since then he has done much to improve the Kelso District and Kelso High and has helped to make this year another successful one, Assistant Superintendent Mr, Schleif sees that the Kelso High School Building is kept in good order, that the grounds around the school are kept up, thqt the school buses run well, and that the cafeteria operates efficiently, ln other words, hels kept busyi Boys Counselor Kelso High School s boys counselor Mr Lee Sonedecker, is a very familiar person around Kelso. He is not only the boys' counselor but head baseball coach, which takes much of his time in the spring, As counselor he helps make up all the boys' schedules and talks over with them any problem which might arise. 4

Principal If we students of Kelso High were asked why we admire Mr. Reschke, a large per- centage would answer, because he shows a deep concern for each of us as individ- uals We know that he wants to help us with our problems, we feel that he sees our potential and that he has confidence in us, lt's wonderful to have a principal who is so close to the students and one who has always done such a tremendous job in pro- moting the Hilander spirit, Vice-Principal The vice-principal of Kelso High School, Mr. Emmett Schroeder, has the responsi- bility of greeting all absentees., You will find him in the study hall every morning, where he will be accepting excuses and giving blue slips to hooky players, His friendly personality always keeps him smiling even though some ofthe alasentees try his patience. J Girls' Counselor Miss Marcellus has faithfully guided the girls of Kelso High for many years She has helped with both personal and aca- demic problems. We feel fortunate to have such an understanding person as girls' counselor. 5
