H-ning become seniors they found themselves in a position of leadership in school, On November 22 they produced the hilarious three-act comedy The Torch Be'irers.' The seniors assisted the Girls League and the Boys Federation with the production of the Snow Ball in December. As grudufition neared senior pictures were taken and exchanged' cards and -innouncements were choseng memory books were autographed' orders were taken for cups 'ind gowns, While the underclassmen were in the dark, the seniors prepared for Sneak Day by appointing committees and selecting the time and place for the event. At l'ist commencement! For twelve years the class of 1947 had looked forward to it with enthusiasm. As each year passed it became more apparent to all that one dwy they would be leaving school. Some were sadg others were not, Yet each senior left part of his youth behind him' and as an alumnus he set out alone into the future, hoping to achieve his lifes ambitions but never forgetting the happiest years of his life-high school days.
