Ending the season with a 4-2-l record in league play, the Trojans finished fourth in their section by beating C.V.S., Gage Park, South Shore, and tying Morgan Park. ln the Morgan Park garne, lohn Maiewski became the only center in the Prep League to accomplish the feat of scoring a touchdown last year. Football hopes for the playoffs were strong until Dunbar toppled the Tro- jans 26 to 6, with Dunbar's Willy Iones chalking up all the touchdowns for his tearn. Although they didn't reach a playoff berth because of a last quarter loss to Calumet and the defeat at the hands of Dunbar, the gridiron terrors fought on willingly to the end. Hlntramurals are the bulwark of the physical education program. They give every boy a chance to compete within the school. Mr. Robert C.
